Byeon Woo Seok is a South Korean actor and model. He was born on October 31, 1991, in Busan, South Korea. Woo Seok majored in theatre and film. He served his military service at 22 as a sergeant in the Republic of South Korea Army’s 37th Infantry Division. He enlisted in November 2011 and was discharged in August 2013.  He began working as a model under Varo Entertainment in 2014 before making his acting debut in 2016. Byeon Woo Seok gained widespread popularity for portraying Ryu Sun–Jae in the television series Lovely Runner. The success of the television series launched Woo Seok into stardom, which also earned the affectionate nickname of “Nation’s Boyfriend”.
